I am working on project D with Caron and Allison. We are to teach the students of a French 2 class about indirect objects, direct objects, and object placement. So far everything has run really smoothly and we work together really well. Our teacher, Mlle. Lamartiniere, was very helpful when we went to see her. She also seemed very excited that we were doing this with her. I think this project is a good way for us to see how technology is used in an actual classroom.

Last week I e-mailed Mlle. Lamartiniere to coordinate a convenient time for all of us to meet. After the initial meeting with Mlle. Lamartiniere, we got together as a group to work on the Power Point. Together, as a group, we created the slides for lecture, practice problems, and a quiz for the French 2 class. Mlle. Lamartiniere made it very clear that she did not want to use paper for the worksheet or quiz. So instead of using Microsoft Word we incorporated the quiz and worksheet into the Power Point.

Last week we learned how to make a crossword puzzle with Excel. I'm not sure how often I will use this skill because it is very time consuming to create the crossword puzzle. I was absent the day we learned how to use WikiSpaces so I took the time last week to learn how to use the program. Last week we also got together as a group and chose which project we were going to work on. We chose project D.
